You Said – We Did
Responses, themes and actions as a result
Thank you for all your responses to the June/July 2023 Family Survey. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we very much appreciate all your kind words regarding the care of your loved ones. This feedback is shared with all our staff.
In total we received 27 responses and below we have highlighted some of the key themes that have arisen from your feedback.
Themes coming from your responses to the survey | Action as a result |
Regular care planning meetings | We have taken your comments on board and would like to invite you to speak to the service manager of your loved one’s homes/services, to arrange to discuss any care issues. These meetings can take place as often as you’d like in order for you to receive updates as often as you’d like.
If there are any significant changes for your loved one in terms of medication or condition, we will always phone you to let you know. Our staff use electronic care planning called ‘Person Centred Software’ this allows staff to keep accurate, timely and detailed information on your loved one’s medical and wellbeing needs. This system will also flag up any changes in your loved one’s condition, so action can be taken if needed.

More activities and stimulation for residents at our residential services. | We are excited to be launching a new activities platform called Oomph Wellness in September at The Beeches and James Page House. Oomph Wellness will provide tailor made activities everyday for your loved ones. Taking into account any areas of special interest or hobbies. This online platform will also be available for you to use with your loved ones when you visit – allowing you both to share in activities that can help stimulate memories, generate conversation and be enjoyable. The platform includes quizzes, musical concerts and films to name just a few of its capabilities.
It’s important to stress that this WILL NOT replace the in-person activities and entertainers/animals/singing/crafts etc. that we currently provide – Oomph Wellness will be an addition to our existing programme of activities. More about Oomph Wellness here. |
