It’s an exciting time at Parkhaven Trust as work continues to progress on The Pines, our new purpose-built 36-bed nursing service in Maghull.

The building is really starting to take shape, and the latest work taking place gives us an exciting glimpse of what the finished service will look like.

Inside, rooms are beginning to be plastered, doors are being fitted and the internal spaces are taking shape. With each stage of the build, it becomes easier to imagine The Pines as a welcoming new home for the people who will live there.

The Pines is a major investment in the future of care at Parkhaven and will provide:

  • Residential nursing care
  • Dementia nursing care
  • End-of-life and palliative nursing care

The new service forms an important part of our Future Care Model, creating a clearer continuum of care across the Parkhaven community. Our aim is to give people greater choice and, wherever appropriate, the opportunity to remain within the familiar Parkhaven community as their needs change.

There is still plenty of work to be completed before we can welcome people into The Pines, but seeing walls plastered, doors installed and individual rooms emerging makes this an especially exciting stage of the project.

We’ll continue to share photographs and updates as the building progresses.

The countdown to The Pines is well and truly underway – and we can’t wait to show you more!
