Construction work is progressing and the building is starting to look like we had planned. There has been a delay in the time required to complete the building, and we now expect hand over to be at the end of October. Once the building is handed over to Parkhaven Trust we will need to add furniture and fittings, train colleagues in the new operating procedures, and be inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure that the building is suitable for its purpose. We plan to do this during November and if all goes well to move in early December.
