We are delighted to announce that the name of our new nursing home will be The Pines.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part in our naming competition. We received so many thoughtful and creative suggestions, and it was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and support from our community.
The name The Pines was chosen because it reflects the beautiful green surroundings of our estate and complements the tree and nature-inspired theme that runs throughout our other services. It also pays tribute to the heritage of the site, helping to create a sense of place and connection to the landscape that has long been part of its story.
We believe The Pines captures the warm, welcoming, and peaceful environment we are creating for future residents, their families, and visitors.
The winners of the competition will be contacted individually over the coming weeks.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed their ideas and helped us reach this exciting milestone. We look forward to welcoming people to The Pines and sharing the next chapter of its journey with you.
We are planning to open The Pines to the individuals we care for and our colleagues in November 2026.
