The Beeches at Parkhaven Trust was buzzing with activity on Saturday 4th July 2026 as residents, families, staff and members of the local community came together for a fantastic Summer Fair.

The event was a wonderful success, with visitors enjoying a great selection of stalls, refreshments, entertainment and the opportunity to spend time together in the sunshine. The day created a warm community atmosphere and provided plenty of smiles and memorable moments for everyone who attended.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who supported the event, and the fantastic match funding provided by Barclays Bank, we are delighted to share that the Summer Fair raised an amazing £1,900.

The funds will go towards resurfacing our much-loved Mile Walk pathway, making it more accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. This improvement will ensure that residents, families and visitors of all abilities can safely enjoy the beautiful outdoor space for walks, fresh air and time together.

A huge thank you goes to all of our dedicated volunteers, whose hard work before, during and after the event helped make the day run so smoothly. We are also incredibly grateful to our stall holders for giving their time and supporting the fair:

• Sarah Duckworth (Barclays)
• Friends of Maghull and District
• The Bee Troop Community Apiary

Your generosity and community spirit played a huge part in making the event such a success.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the Summer Fair. We hope you enjoy looking back at some of the highlights from a wonderful day, and we look forward to welcoming everyone again next year!
