Nursing Care

Each of our homes has their own individual style and range of facilities.

Each of our homes has their own individual style and range of facilities.

01. Aims & Values
We aim to provide the highest possible quality of care in homely, supportive and safe environments. Our person-centred approach ensures that all of our residents' are respected as individuals and personalised care plans are tailored to individual needs. We promote independence by encouraging and supporting our residents' choices and preferences. Dignity and privacy are respected at all times. The views of our residents', their families and friends are important to us. Visitors are always welcome; we actively encourage their participation and support. We communicate regularly and openly with family members to ensure we are providing the very best service for their loved one.
02. Catering
Each of our larger homes has a cook and all meals are prepared in our own kitchens each day. Menus are varied, nutritionally balanced and offer choice. Each home provides three delicious meals a day and tasty snacks and drinks are available 24 hours a day. Special dietary requirements are catered for.
03. Activities
Individual and group activities are offered at each home. We have a dedicated Activities Coordinator who organises a varied and meaningful programme of activities for all of our residents'. Activities include quizzes, chair based exercise, bingo, coffee mornings, trips out, reminiscence activities, musical entertainment and hand massage plus arts and crafts; including painting, salt dough modelling and card making. ‘The Haven’, a wonderful area on our Liverpool Road South site, offers gardening and activities in the greenhouse and orchard. The site also includes a mile long, wheelchair accessible path around the beautiful grounds. Each home has a hairdresser who visits weekly.
04. Staff
Each home has a team of care staff, who are qualified to either NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care. Our staff at Kyffin Taylor House specialise in caring for older people with dementia. A team of qualified, registered nurses lead the care team at James Page House, our nursing home. Our staff work in partnership with local GPs and their care teams to provide the highest level of support and care. The dedication and commitment of our staff is what sets us apart.
