The Trust set up the Parkhaven@Home domiciliary service in April 2008. Based at the Willow Centre, it supports service users in their own homes.
Our philosophy is ‘familiar faces in familiar places’. Our aim is to provide care and support: from enabling someone to have a bath or helping them to make a snack to ensuring medication is taken. Parkhaven@Home works in partnership with those that use the service, their families, carers and professionals to provide an excellent service and ensure that the individual can remain in their own home for as long as possible.
The Trust also works in partnership with social landlords, Adactus and Your Housing to provide services for people living in tenanted accommodation who have learning difficulties or dementia.
The Trust, in partnership with Your Housing provides an extra care housing scheme for people with dementia, Parkhaven Court.
We also support nine people with learning difficulties to live in accommodation provided by Adactus at The White House.
