Last week, Parkhaven Trust was delighted to welcome Geoff, a humanoid robot, for a special visit with our team.
The visit gave colleagues the opportunity to experience first-hand how emerging technologies are helping to shape the future of health and social care. Geoff sparked plenty of interest and conversation, offering a fascinating glimpse into how innovation could support both people who draw on care services and the dedicated professionals who provide them.
Geoff’s visit forms part of the Adult Social Care Testbed, a regional innovation project led by the University of Liverpool in partnership with the National Care Forum. The initiative is exploring how real-world technologies can enhance the quality of care, improve outcomes for people accessing support, and empower care teams through practical, innovative solutions.
