Role Summary
Looking for a rewarding way for your team to give back to the local community? Parkhaven Trust welcomes corporate and workplace volunteer groups to support a variety of projects across our care services and beautiful grounds in Maghull. Whether you’re looking for a one-off volunteering day or a regular partnership, we’ll work with you to create a meaningful experience for your team.
What Your Team Could Be Doing
Every volunteering day is tailored to your group’s size, skills and interests. Activities may include:
- Gardening, weeding and maintaining our beautiful grounds.
- Power washing pathways and outdoor areas.
- Painting fences, benches and garden furniture.
- Planting flowers, shrubs and seasonal displays.
- Cutting back vegetation and helping to care for our woodland and community mile-path.
- Assisting with seasonal events and celebrations.
- Supporting arts and crafts, games, music or reading sessions with residents and day centre attendees.
- Helping create welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy.
No two volunteering days are the same, and there’s always something fun and rewarding to get involved in.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome workplace teams of all sizes, including businesses, organisations and community groups who want to make a positive impact.
You don’t need any previous experience—just a willingness to get involved, work together and make a difference.

Training & Support
- Full welcome and site induction.
- Activities planned and coordinated by our team.
- All equipment and materials provided where required.
- Support throughout the day from Parkhaven Trust staff.
