Role Summary

If you love baking and enjoy bringing people together, we’d love you to join us. From decorating biscuits to making simple cakes, you’ll help create enjoyable sessions that spark memories, conversation and plenty of smiles.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with simple baking sessions.
  • Helping prepare ingredients and equipment.
  • Supporting participants individually or in small groups.
  • Encouraging conversation and reminiscence through baking.
  • Helping with serving and tidying up.

What We’re Looking For

  • Enjoys baking and working with people.
  • Friendly and patient.
  • Happy to encourage others to take part.
  • Reliable and positive.
  • No professional baking experience necessary.

Time Commitment

Flexible.
Usually 2–4 hours each week.

Parkhaven Trust
Maghull, Merseyside

Training & Support

Full induction.
Food hygiene guidance where required.
Ongoing support from staff.
