Investment in Our Staff
Parkhaven Trust employs approximately 200 people, many of whom work part time. The majority of posts are based at one of our many services across the Trust, providing direct care. We have a number of staff who have worked for the Trust for over 25 years and others that are at the start of their careers as apprentices.

Training & Development. All staff receive an induction programme. Annual mandatory training is also provided to keep staff up to date in current practice and in addition, bespoke training for specific roles is provided e.g. dementia, medication administration and IT skills.
The Trust aims to ensure that 90% of all care staff achieve a RCF Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care; and 50% of staff achieve Level 3.
The Trust will develop the skills of our existing staff to enable career progression and provide opportunities for personal development. All staff receive regular supervision and appraisal. Our annual Workforce Development Plan focuses on talent management and succession planning; it is important that we invest in our staff and develop talent.
Rewards. We offer competitive rates of pay, enhancements and opportunities. We also offer a company pension scheme that includes employer’s contributions and life assurance.

Employee of the Month Scheme. Staff and managers are encouraged to nominate their colleagues each month, recipients of which go forward to the 'Employee of the Year Award'.
Flexibility. We have a variety of roles across the Trust and can offer flexibility in hours. In return we ask for flexibility from you in helping us meet the needs of our service users.
