Is a five star rated home for 24 older people. It provides permanent and respite care. The home is set in beautiful surroundings and close to local amenities.

What we offer

Set in the well-maintained grounds of the Parkhaven Trust estate, Harrison House has a large communal lounge with television, video and DVD, as well as a large conservatory. Each room has private washing facilities and a call bell system. Harrison House also has a lift. There are bathroom and shower facilities to suit all needs. All members of staff are trained, have a good understanding of older people's needs and offer the highest possible standard of care in a supportive, homely and safe environment. The home has a full-time chef, whose home cooked meals offer variety and choice. Special dietary requirements are catered for and drinks and snacks are available 24 hours a day.

A laundry service is provided (excluding dry cleaning), a hairdresser attends weekly and a chiropodist, district nurse and dental service are available when required. Close links are maintained with local GPs and their care teams. Residents' religious preferences are important and there are good links with local Church ministers who visit the home regularly. Daily newspapers can be ordered.

Visitors are always welcome. We actively encourage their participation and support.
